A challenge completed.

For a change i thought i would do a challenge.I have done this for a cybercrop challenge you had to use red,black and white and a touch of orange.Also a monogram letter and the word priceless.It was over at Bon's scraps and the lovely Bon set the challenge.
I managed to use some glimmermist and also some stamping and really enjoyed doing something different.Notice i still snuck some prima goodness on it lol.
I have fallen in love with the prima music stamps and also the stamp with the writing on it which i stamped the butterflies with.
Vanessa from SWV has them there for sale so reasonably priced too.

I have a couple of commitments that i must finish 3/4 done on one and not much left of the other.Sometimes it is just nice to scrap just for yourself.Last week i managed to do that.
Well only two more Saturday's and then it is up up and away.

So scary doing it on my own.But I'm sure it will be great fun my only wish is that Col and Mikayla could have come along too.But with the expense we could only send me.Plus Mikayla has only started school this year so we don't want her missing to much of it.

Not sure how much i can get access to a computer while i'm away if i can i will try and post a small post.I will also tey and scrap a bit over the next week otherwise i will have serious withdrawls.Have a wonderful week and take care Love Kerry xx

Our little chick

Just love this piece of paperAnd all the prima goodness.Mikayla loves bubbles.

And this is really pretty paper too.And she is so cheeky looking her.The real her.

I am half way through another layout so hope to finish that this week.So i will update again soon.

A disco Friday and the beach today.

In her new clothes ready to dance at the disco.

Friday night before the disco she was so excited to go to her first blue light disco at school.When we got there she wouldn't leave my side.It took her about 20 minutes to get off my leg then she danced all the time she was there.

It was like watching something out of the movies.Mikayla was running towards me from being in the water.I think she looked so cute she was oblivious to everything.

This pic was taken today also she was being a pain two minutes before this saying i only want you to take one picture.

And Mikayla also got her dance report from ballet this weekend it was really good.She is progressing well in her dancing but very shy with her singing but getting there.She had a really big smile on her face when we read her report card.

Tomorrow is parent interviews at school so i hope they are good too.She seems to be able to charm everyone.lol.Have a great week everyone and don't forget Bons cyber crop Tuesday night.

getting closer

Hi everyone well certainly is close now.And i have managed to pickup a bug of some sort.I came home from work early today.I lied down and went to sleep straight away.Lucky someone knocked on the door at about 2.45 pm and woke me up.I had to pick Mikayla up from school.

So here are another couple of layouts that i have finished over the last few days.
Just loving all the new prima stuff.I have had a parcel turn up from SWV yesterday and wow love all the new things i got.


Carly and i at the wedding for my nephew.We never get pics together anymore.So it was nice for a change to be photographed with her.


My niece Annice at her cousins wedding at Xmas time.I have stamped the background paper then built my layout from there.

All new prima products plus a couple of the older stamps .

I have used all the new prima products as they are so pretty and certainly my favourite things to use.If you haven't all noticed by now tee hee.I love the build a frame stamps they are great and very versatile.

Mikayla is growing like a weed i can't believe where the time has gone to.She was a baby not so long ago and now she is five.The shot in the chair shows how much of a little miss she is.She posed like this herself i thought have a look at her all lady like.lol

yay i have finally posted

This adorable little chick is my friend Kym's daughter Mackenzie.I love this pic and all the prima goodness.I have been busy doing some scrapping that i can't show here at the moment.
I have nearly completed another page as well.Hopefully that will be done by tonight.That is another with all the new prima products too.I never find it hard to use prima it just flows i think.
Well not long now till i venture oversees getting very nervous going it alone.

Look who is turning five tommorow.

Look who is turning five tomorrow yes our precious little chick.She had a fabulous day yesterday at her fifth birthday party.And tomorrow is her actual birthday .She loved each and every one of her presents.And she was so tired last night it was straight to bed and she didn't wake up until 7.15 this morning.Boy it must be tough being five.

Happy happy birthday sweet precious little chick we love you very much and we hope that you have a fun filled day .Love mum and dad.

I think this was one of her favourite things the bear sings a birthday song it hasn't left her side.Thanks auntie Robyn.

And Indiana,Tarkyn and Mikayla they have all grown so much in a year.

And of coarse the little treasure being herself climbing tree's with her friend Mackenzie.

ccc challenge and build a page feb for prima.

This is my take on the ccc challenge for this fortnight i have only done this one cos i really like the combo.Steph Devlin chose the combo and isn't so fresh.And of course i had to get out all the prima flowers from my collection.

And this one is the prima build a page for February.Don't you just love the new prima papers and flowers.I also stamped swirls and inked them not that you can really tell on here.

Also a friend Jodi emailed me today to say congrats on getting one of my pages on the prima blog yay gotta be happy with that.Prima as you all know is my most favourite brand of paper and also there flowers i would be lost without them.

Christy and Isobel

I was lucky enough to photograph Christy and her new baby Isobel on the weekend she is such an adorable baby.I have known Christy since she was about 8 years old and now she is mum at 32.She has grown into such a beautiful girl and I'm sure she will be the best mum too.

And of course no show without punch.Mikayla certainly loves being photographed too.She wanted to know when was it going to be her turn .We have had a really good couple of weeks at school ans she is adjusting quite well.I will catch you all later i hope to do some scrapping this week one way or another.

Can't wait to get started with the new prima papers that i was able to get on the weekend from the paper craft fair here in Adelaide.

And another on.I know i really dont scrap boy layouts very often but i was really pleased with the way these two turned out.

Our baby on her first day of school

She is all grown up and her bag is really heavy too.

God only knows what is going on in her head here.She looked so sad when we left her.But on picking her up she was happy.And she kept talking about the canteen.Food is her number one topic.She also was pretty happy that she could play on two playgrounds as well. I hope that she will be happy .tomorrow

February Challenge for scrap the girl.

Some exciting news and just a couple of things that i have been upto.

Little miss modeling for me in the tshirt that i decorated for her to go with her skirt that i made.

Don't you just love this skirt well i do.Thanks so much to my good friend Janine she drafted this pattern for daughter and allowed me to trace one off for Mikayla.I pit this together last night and just love the fresh look of it.

And the invitations for Travis and Carla's English wedding invitations they took me about a week and a few days very fiddly but i was happy with the end result. Now i have to hope and pray that they get there safely.

And last but not least i have been keeping a little secret.I applied to be on the creative team of scrap the girls and i have been chosen as one of them.I am looking forward to working with all the other very talented ladies.And congratulations to the other ladies that have got through too.

And look at the two terrors they get on so well together.They were playing in the tree pretending that there were lions and tigers and bears there.Such imaginations.

This was my favourite for the day.Thanks Kim for bringing the girls down to get some pics it was lovely to chat and relax.Mikayla had a ball.

I did this layout for the prima blog Jan build a page.I have so many pics of Travis and Carla from there Australian wedding.I thought this would be a good way to get a few on a page.
I hope that you all have had agreat day off for Australia day i know i have.

We were busy cleaning and sewing and rearranging stuff so i feel like i have achieved something for the day.
