Some exciting news

I just thought that i would share some exciting news.I have had an email from Pam from
My creative scrapbook an American based kit club.And i am a guest designer for them for July,thanks so much to Pam for inviting me to join this amazing design team and kit club.They have beautiful kits and it has been a joy scrapping this kit this month.The kit sneeks will be up on the site on the 1st of the month and the kit release is the 5th of July.
Let me tell you that all of the kits that are going to be revelled are just choc full of goodies that you will love.So pop on over and have a look.

I have done some masking on this layout and used a srapmatts swirl,and stamping.

The color room challenge for this week.Well i struggled big time with these colors so out of my zone for sure.I used the sketch that was provided as well.

Gosh it seems like forever ago that i played along with the color combo galore.This is my take on there color combo for this week.I think it has such a pretty summery look about it.And i love this picture of Mikayla too.

Gosh i found it really hard in using all similar colors and ones i really avoid scrapping and this was really out of my comfort zone this week.I have masked and sprayed and also modpodged on this layout.The orange back ground paper has photographed so much lighter than of is irl.

Another scrap the girls

My second scrap the girls for this month yep already,the last one got picked up for publication so i have replaced it with this one.It has the same techniques that i used on the last layout,i have mod podged,stamped and masked this layout.And there is a cute little bird cage that i have used from scrapmatts also.Mikayla and Harmony,Charmanes daughter get on so well and Mikayla had to have puppy in the pick for good measure.

Our sweet grandson,color room #61

Isn't he just adorable a sweet grandson and always so happy when we see him.Harrison is 7 months now the time has flown.He is sliding across the room almost crawling properly.He has cut 1 tooth nearly two.He chatters away to himself wouldn't you just love to squeeze those chubby cheeks.

I love this new line by October Afternoon so cute i think.I have also stamped on here for the background.

Loved this weeks color room palette thought i would do a bit of mixed media again,I have used muslin texture paste and masking on the back then built it up from there.I was really happy with the results.

the color room 57 Harrison he is so adorable. It was my turn to do the scrapmatts post Friday and i have made these three layouts using these products .This is a pic i took last year in England of Travis the products used are CB1073 Gear 02,CB5034 Gear Frame 03 also i have used Charms lollipop flowers you can find them on charms creations.

My entry for the Scrapbooking memories top 20 for the Brisbane scrapbook and papercraft convention.

I was totally stoked to get in the top 20 for the Scrap booking memories competition.So if you are going to the scrapbook and paper craft fair please go along to the Scrap booking booth and put in your vote for your favourite layout.

You will have to look at this IRL as it does have extensive machine stitching on it.all the diamonds are stitched on the page.
Mikayla took this picture of me and i really thought she had done a great job.So to all my scrappy friends that are going come and vote and hopefully for me lol.The prize is great/

The color room,stg and 123 challenge blog

 The color room challenge very pretty this week,i was inspired to use circles from Jannine and the pleating around the circle from Karola.

 The STG challenge for this month just write 25 or more words in your own handwriting about someone who is important in your life.

123 challenge for this month using red and stitching and the word fun.I love these pics of our grandson Harrison he is so cute.

My Kaisercraft Entry

 I have decided to do a couple of cards,i have used kaiser stamps and also to two ranges of papers the Chanteuse Collection and the English rose collection.

 I decided also to decorate this bird cage i had home here using one of the kaiser flourishes and of course the beautiful paper roses from Kaiser.

 This off the page book was just perfect for when my daughter started fairy dancing,i have had this one for quite a while now the papers were a butterfly collection fro kaiser.

 This is my son and daughter at her bring a friend or grandparent day,she brought along her elder brother.I have used the the class of 87 papers and also used the alphabet stamps from kaiser as the background with glimmer mist and embossing.And i hand cut all the little people as well.

 This is our cute little grandson Harrison,i have gone into my stash and found there kasier Loire valley papers,also kaiser alpha stamps on the cheeky boy,the laugh and giggle stamps up the top right hand corner are another older set of kaiser stamps too.I also used the bubble wrap stamp and embossing in the background with glimmer mist.I have cut the bird house and the birds from the papers.

 Mikayla with her dad she loves him to bits and is very spoilt too.i have used the English rose papers here,also cutting up the papers to get the effect i wanted,the rubons are the sayings about dads,the journal ling block is from the journal ling stamp blocks.

 Ad of course the little chick and me,i have used the dress form ,the Chanteuse collection papers,bling and rubons on this layout.

And last but not least is my daughter Mikayla and her friend Harmony they are so funny together,they love visiting each other.I have used some of the magic happens collection here,and airy fairy paper.Also the birdcage and pearls.The rubons and the stamps are kaiser as well.
