A Few Challenges

The color room challenge for this week #113 really struggled with the colors this week.

Jason and Lachlan boy is it hard to get Lachlan to pose,Mikayla had to jump up and down behind me to get him too look.This is for the June 123 challenge blog. You have to use washi tape,the color blue,and and also the word change.

Scrap the girls this month for June you have to have outside pics.I have used a sketch from Lydell Quinn for this layout. So why not give one or all a go,would love to see all of you playing along.Have a great weekend take care Love Kerry xx

I would have to say this girl is one amazing talent.I was thrilled to meet her finally.She has the most beautiful spirit,friendly appraochable.and so much knowledge and talent for such a young person.So glad we met i will treasure this always.This is a finn inspired page. I havent scrapped since i have been back from Darwin just havent felt like it.Hopefully things settle down a bit and i will get back into the swing of it.Maybe because i have been busy at work and also with Mikayla.Have a great week end.

A inspirational weekend

Well i would have to say i have never spent an entire weekend in awe of such a talented beautiful spirited girl. Finnabair has been my favourite scrapper for the last couple of years.I now know why she is so talented and she had no trouble in sharing her ideas with us.She also said she is happy for us to use the techniques for our own use which is fantastic.So expect some layouts from me with some new techniques on them. These layouts above are the techniques we were shown and our own spin on what she showed us. Also how can i go past not thanking Rae from scrap matrix she organized the whole event and what a wonderful event it was.Rae had organized everything down to the last little trinket.Her sisters were there also supporting her and us every step of the way what a great team they make.I would have no hesitation in supporting them in another event like this as long as i like who they bring out next.Rae had everything we needed plus loads to choose from her shop tee hee.So if you like mixed media and trinkets scrap matrix shop is the place to shop including great prices.Rae is relocating at the moment but when she reopens im sure it will be bigger and better. And thanks to Heather for flying up there with me and having some real laughs.And to Colleen what a fab fun girl great to meet you and to share this great weekend sitting with the both of you.Also to my roomies Loe and Peg thanks for the great weekend too. Scrap the girls May

Here is my sample for scrap the girls this month it is a saying from Amy Li.You can use this anyway you like.I decided to do a plaque. Can you believe i have no recent pictures of Mikayla with any of her sisters and i do not have any with my sisters.Must rectify this.So if you are plating along jump over to scrap the girls and play along for some great prizes. I have used a lot of masking with prima masks and also prima stamps ,mod podge and the cute birdbath and birds are also prima.The lettering is also prima products. Have a great week everyone xx

So excited today i received my free copy of Somerset magazine from Canada with this layout in it.This was a layout i did for pallet 46 for the color room,you had to scrap a layout from someone who inspired you,i took my inspiration from Finni barr And i am so excited as i get to meet her IRL in early May.Also she has about five layouts in this copy too.

Also a noticed a few other Aussies in there too yippee go you Aussie girls,Lou is on the cover fantastic Lou ,Nic Pomeroy was in the Chantel Vadenburg,and Julie winks sorry if i have spelt your names wrong.
This is my take of this weeks color room pallet #104 I took my inspiration from this page draft number 18 from Emma Straface she does some really cool sketches.And of course Lydell Quin with the color room colors for this week are so pretty together.

Scrap the girls this month was to use turquoise blue as your prominent color.The word love in your title,and also chipboard.Mikayla meeting Tailah for the first time so sweet.Loads of texture in this,spraying and stamping.

I just loved this color pallet so girly.Mikayla loves cakes and chocolates she would just eat these if we let her.Thanks Lydell for such a great pallet and sketch.

Been way too long since i scrapped but we have been on holidays for a month and then back to reality working.It has taken its toll just getting back to routine this week.

I hope to get a few things scrapped over the next few weeks.
I have some nice wedding pics to scrap of my niece Nikki,plenty of holiday pics too.As well as a grandsons 1st birthday and a granddaughters birth .So no excuses now.

December kits for my creative scrapbook

This kit is just perfect to scrap your Xmas pics with,I hadn't scrapped any pics from last year as i never really like Xmas papers.But this kit was just fab and all the papers were so easy to scrap with,I do love the music notes paper and the dots,and the newspaper print paper.Also the prima flowers.So pop on over to my creative scrapbook and get yourself a kit for this years pics.

The color room #87 and Lauren Rose

I also had a photo shoot with this beautiful baby Lauren Rose she is so cute.She is Mikayla's godmothers daughter,and is 9 weeks old now.
It was such a pretty pallet to use this week,Mikayla and i were in this years xmas pageant in Adelaide.Over three hundred thousand people lined the streets of Adelaide to watch it.What an amazing experience it was for Mikayla and i.
