finally i have scraped a page after two weeks break.

I have scraped this page last night i have done this months challenge on

Just a couple of pics of the little miss.

We have finally and full moved in yeah it certainly was tiring and Col did a fab job with the move.

Cute pics and a little bit of mixed media.

I went to my girlfriends daughters baby shower yesterday and bought these cupcakes home for Mikayla.She was so excited and couldn't wait to get her hands onto it.They were yummy too.

My friend Gigi said to me the other week why not try a bit of mixed media.Well last night i sat down and done some.This page was inspired by Kate Mason.I did a class with Kate the other month and it was using different bits and pieces on an album.I love the mod podge and mixed paints and also using serviettes.I was pretty happy with the end result different to my usual scrapping that's for sure.I added bits of muslin,torn book paper and also music paper

and masking tape.

Thanks Gi i might just have to try some other stuff too.

I can't believe it this is the second time i have managed to get banner of the week for the inspire me blog.I just love this winter wings line and the picture of Mikayla was taken when she was about 20 months it is just so cute. Its funny because i have hung onto this picture for three years now i could never find the right paper that i wanted to use.This paper was perfect. Inspire me blog from websters pages.

This is the last entry that i done for Bons Scraps DT comp i hand made the flowers and also glimmer misted the page.I was really happy with my entries.Unfortunately i didn't cut the mustard.Congratulations to all the girls that made it threw to the final five.And congrats to the new DT i hope you enjoy each and every minute of it .

And this one is of my mum and dad on there wedding day.I simply loved scrapping this for a change.I do have one of my mum as a young girl probably 17 that i am going to scrap next.I think it is the photography that i love as it looks hand painted.Mikayla was funny she asked who they were ,when i told her Nana and Poppa she said no its not i don't like there teeth funny is int she.But of course they both do have false teeth now .

A trip too Maggie Beers

Well i told Colin that i would like to go to the Maggie Beer Factory in Nurioopta on the weekend.I didnt even know it was there.Lindy and Phillipa visted it when they were down here last week they told me about it.It really was a pretty spot and we had the nicest lunch there too.The afternoon was quite warm and it was quite the busy spot.Well worth the visit i think.

I managed to get my last round entry done for Bons as well.Plus one other layout from the Bon's September kit.I will upload the layout tommorow when i photograph it.

My layout out from the bons kit for September.It was really lovely product certainly worth looking at for a kit.The boy and girl kit were sold out in 12 minutes.Not bad is it.I added a couple of bits to this layout that were not in the kit.I'm sure that everyone certainly has stuff in there stash that they can add as well.So if you want value for money take a look at these fab kits each month.Gosh this pic was taken 12 months ago at least Mikayla looks a bit more chubby in her face here.I just love that hat. This was my entry for the third round.I made the purple flowers on this and thanks Janine for another beautiful photo.
I got through to the fourth and final round.I have picked my kit from my own stash for the last round.Take a look at bons and you can see my kit there.I have to do a layout with the complete instructions.So wish me luck.Am going to work on this over the weekend.

A shadow box.

Well i found this shadow box at a cheap shop and painted it and decided to decorate it.I love the end product.Lots of prima yummies here.Also thanks for the great pics which also inspired the end result.

Well we have a big weekend in front of us.Moving in about 8 weeks so i found out tonight new date as it was going to be four weeks.So loads of cleaning out and moving on.Not much more happening here.

A couple of pages to share

Well i just had to scrap this pic of Carlys cake making effort lol.We always stir her about her ability to cook and she never let us down this time.This was her second time that she made this cake in the one day due to the icing.She wonders why the icing is all runny maybe by adding tons of milk might be the problem.As you can see Lachlan loved it he hasn't learnt to be fussy yet.Don't worry Carly sees the funny side of it too.

This layout like the top one was for my entry into the dt comp at bonscraps for round two.I made it through to the third round so it will be interesting to see what we have to do next.

The first layout was the September sketch with a couple of extra things added into it by Bon.

And the second layout was my own sketch and we had to add stitching and hearts.The pic on here is quite dark but it is very bright irl.

Also the second layout the photo was taken by my friend Janine.She has taken quite a few of my lovely pics and i have enjoyed scrapping them.The pictures do not do these layouts justice as i think the glimmer mist buckles the paper too much.I am really fussy like the the paper to sit flat.I should have ironed it lol.Thats it for me now chat soon.

She thought she was pretty cool on this car it was really cute as the cars were all connected and Mikayla thought they were chasing her.

Mikayla was supposed to milk the cow i did it instead look at the stance on her she didn't want to do it.

What a day we went to the show my nephew Paul and my sister we walked and walked i was totally wrecked by the end of the day.We had a great time this was the first time for Mikayla she loved it.She was really good too so that helped she only wanted one showbag so that was good to.But she loved the rides she had four baby rides then she went on the ferris wheel with Paul she loved that saying i could see everywhere .I thought she would have been scared bot not at all.

Well i have some great pics to scrap and a very excited little girl.Happy fathers day to all the dads and grand dads today.We have a busy one.

I love this pic of Lachlan so sweet he is finally walking and he thinks he is pretty clever too.He looks and smiles at you then takes those very unsteady steps.Carly would love him to be not walking now he is.She is sad as she thinks he is growing up too quicly.
He loves givin out slobbery open mouth kisses and also pulls your hair at the same time.
I guess we will take what we can get as that wont last forever either.

Indiana was only about four months here she turns one in October.This layout was picked up for publication early this year just got it back from creative paper.Seems like they have closed the door and have sent lods of peoples layouts back and not publishing them.What a shame.

The first one scrapped

This is the first layout of quite a few i think with the pics that Janine took and edited.I think this is so sweet.I love this prima tape that Janine got in from prima.It is so affective.Also i made some of these flowers from a link that was posted up on Janine's blog .The link to how to make one is here Nicole .They really are very easy to make and you can use up old flowers that you may have lying around.I think that Nicole has a great tutorial there.

She just about had to do cartwheels to get this little ratbag to look at the camera and smile.Once she warmed up Janine got some great shots.The last one here was the first photo taken look at the coy look.

Well i went away to Melbourne on the weekend with Bon scraps what a great time we had.I really enjoyed catching up with old and new friends we had a ball.I have been so tired since as three very late nights in a row is very tiring.

This is love another pic from Travis and Carla's wedding i can not believe that i got one nice pic of all three of them together.I mixed up prima and my own hand made flowers in this.These are the roses that i have done before from a great tutorial on the web i cant remember the ladys name.

My eldest and my youngest i like the picture of the two of them except the little miss could have looked at the camera.She never seems to when she is with her brother or sisters.I'm sure she does it to give us grief lol. This was on Travis's wedding day i think he had a great time.It was casual .

Trying the cupcake recipe.

Color combo 128#

Well not that i have done much scrapping for a couple of weeks.I have been busy helping to Travis and Carla with there wedding here tomorrow.They are getting married here first then married in England next April.
Mikayla and i have been trial making cupcakes and Colin has been the testing station.I have made a cupcake cake stand and my girlfriend Lyn has made a fruit cake for the top of the stand and i made all the cupcakes for the bottom.
That was a very busy day today and I'm sure tomorrow will just fly too.Well that is two down on the marriage front four to go.And i know that one will defiantly be a very long time as she is only four thank goodness.
I did manage to start two layouts last night at Janine's we has a lovely night and Hilary was there too chatting and scrapping.Of course Janine just chatted after all i think she would have to be buggered after laying floor boards and scrubbing walls all week.But they do look great.
I have one more card to make tonight then i might do the finishing touches on the layouts i started last night then off to bed ,big day tomorrow.Have a great Sunday i know i will.Take care Love Kerryxx

My take on the color combo 127 don't you just love the pic .Thanks Paul for taking some great shots for me.I have a few more that i can scrap and i am grateful to my nephew for taking the time out to shoot some great pics.

And also i love the flowers on this layout the large ones are from cheap as chips arnt they great and the tiny roses are also from the same shop.With a few small prima flowers thrown in the mix.

I really do love scrapping girls layouts rather than boys i should really challenge myself and do some more boys ,let me think about that for a sec nah can't do it lol.I will have to as i have a couple of pics that i have of Lachlan that i need to scrap.

I guess i have been very lucky to have a great teacher in the past that is Janine she is on the side bar of my computer.She has taught me quite a lot about scrapping and different techniques and i am very grateful to all that she has taught me which has enabled me to produce some really great pages now,using the knowledge and growing myself as a scrapper.

We have been very spoilt here in Adelaide to have such great teachers such as Janine and Kate Mason.It is now sad that Janine is in her last week at scrapbookstation it closes this week.Thankyou for all your support and having me teach at your shop over the last twelve months i hope that all goes well with your future and good luck with the pending arrival of baby number five.

I have found it very beneficial to go to classes and one that i will always remember the most is the Heidie Swapp class that was just fantastic.It helps when you can go away and catch up with old friends too.

Well that was a big post i should go to bed have to get up for work tommorow.

This weeks color combo challenge we had to use purple not a fan at all.I thought that i would journal about the macaroni necklace from my little cherub.

Mothers day and color combo 122#

Have you ever tried getting photos with a four year old.Well this was the best of many she is such a little brat.lol I have never been able to get a nice picture with all three of my children together and of course the one that always acts bad is miss M.

And i needed to get this pic with Travis as next year he will be in England and married.He is not returning for three years at this stage very sad i think.

This weeks color combo they were really pretty colors pink,blue,orange and white and yes hybrid scrapping too.I like mixing a bit of digital and also traditional scrapping .The large frame was a frame i bought from two peas and the artist was Danielle Thompson i changed the frame to the color that i wanted.
I recently taught these too classes at scrapbook station and i cant believe how much Mikayla has grown.From this cute little baby too this grown girl in a blink of an eye.Don't you wish you could just bottle them when they are little i do.Well i hope that you are all keeping busy as i know i am.And i now can get on and finish my layout for Simone at abundance gold as i know that she is waiting on this for the class that i am teaching in June. We went to the Easter craft fair here in Adelaide and the Easter bunny was there.I had my camera hoping that maybe he would be here.I would like to have got a pic with miss Mikayla but oh no she was to scared of him.So we got Lachlan to give him a hug.He was so funny he tried to pull his fur out.I'm sure Easter bunny was worried he was going to lose his head.

A layout i did today from Mikayla's fourth birthday.Don't you just love this prima paper.I love all of it cant wait to keep on delving into it.Also the k&c embellishments are just so beautiful too.

And another layout of Lachlan,He is now doing swimming lessons and just loves it.I have done this for the color combo #117 for this week.Have a lovely Easter Sunday tomorrow just thought i would update on toady's scrapping think i might go and do another page .

Finally did some scrapping with my new prima products

Lachlan is now over 6 months he is nearly crawling and has four teeth.He is growing like a weed.

I had done this one along time ago it was sitting in the shop at scrapbook station on show.It is now back home. Sorry about the crooked pic and i hadn't even had a drink.

And i also finally got to use the prima products that i won late last year.I love the pic of Mikayla and i think that Santa is pretty cute too.
The picture of Mikayla is a bit yellow looking the lighting in the hall where she does ballet is terrible.We got to watch Saturday she was so cute and i'm sure she is the youngest there her concentration level is not as good as the rest but overall i think she is doing great.

And here are some more prima products that i have used isn't the paper divine the stitched paper is just beautiful I have cut up a piece of prima paper and used it on here as well.Prima is one of my favourite papers and flowers that i use all the time.

The little miss on her first day for ballet.I have done two pages this week for the color combo.I wasn't happy with this one so i decided to go threw my stash again and find some other papers and do another one.I was a lot happier with the one below.

Color combo 114 # I just had to scrap these pics.Mikayla wanted me to paint her face a tiger so i did.When she was finished i photographed her then she went and had a look in the mirror.She looked and never liked what she seen coming back at her.She cried and said I'm scared wash it off now.We tried to explain it is just paint but no she thinks its a tiger.

I finished this layout the other night and she looked at it in the morning and screamed saying no its the tiger.I said that's you and she said no that's Lily.Lily is her imaginary friend.She hasn't talked about her for ages.lol

I loved this colour pack i bought from a digital site i printed them off and used them for both these layouts.The pics are of course the little miss again ,she really did have fun in the water this day except when she fell over and got soaked.Lucky i had a spare set of clothes in the car.

I finally got around too doing the colour challenge.Sorry for the bad cropping.we have had a busy weekend.Went to a friends daughters wedding at Victor.We went down Friday afternoon and got back today.It was a nice break for a change.Busy week this week at work with a short week yippee.Mikayla and Col are off to see a school that she may go to next year.She thinks she is going now lol.

Mikayla loved her Dora cake.Thank you so much Kym for making this more than five hours work it turned out so beautiful.Mikayla was really lucky that's for sure.

And of course her presents.I think she might have been a bit spoilt.We lay-byed some toys last year at the mid Xmas sale at target and we were going to give her some of these at Xmas.When we got the Xmas presents out there were way to many.So we kept some for her birthday and there were still too many lol.she was so excited with her swing set and her jumping castle .Before all the kids came on Sunday and we were setting up for her party she told me this is the best party ever so sweet.I think all the kids had a great time and it was a really lovely day weather wise too.

I think she looks like she liked the swing set too.Now we have one in the backyard we don't have to drive to the park.She was really excited about this too.I think that she is one very spoilt little girl.Actually i know she is lol.

I completed this layout last night.Why not come and join in on the latest color combo they really are fun to do going outside of your comfort zone.http://colorcombosgalore.ning.com/ Thanks Lorraine for allowing me to use your cutter it was fantastic i have used the cut three on this page.And other exciting news i was the featured member on the color combo blog.Thanks Janet i was very excited about that and to all the lovely members that left a comment for me.
And of course i managed one of Lachlan too.I really can not get used to scrapping a boy but i will keep scrapping him it has to get easier.


We have had a really busy last few weeks with birthdays and ballet and kindy.Mikayla turns four next Monday so we will have another busy week planning her birhday too.I hope you all have a great week.take care love Kerry

Happy birthday Carla for today.Mikayla loves to help blow out the candles

Then they had to get the candles off to cut it.

We started Mikayla at jazz ballet,classical and tap dancing on Saturday she thought it was great.I had to by her all the correct outfit,One hundred and sixty dollars later eeeekkk i'm glad to she likes it.She couldn't wait to put this on and pose this is her posing without any prompting from me.

And also Lachlan is growing so fast it isn't funny.He is nearly 6 months.

And Last of all there has been so much sadness over the bush fires and the loss of peoples lives that i can believe that anyone would do such a thing as light a fire deliberately.My heart goes out to these people and i only wish them all the best for the future so if you are reading this and don't know what to do donate to the fire fund that they have set up.I'm sure whatever you can afford will be appreciated.

I"m doing a scrap book page and donating that to Sarah Gladman she has set up an appeal to scrap some pages and has asked fellow scrappers to donate pages so that families could start new memories from now on.If you can donate one contact Sarah i'm sure se will be happy to accept.http://sares1911.wordpress.com/ thanks.
