Had a bit of a scrapping frenzy the last couple of days while i have been on holidays so thought i might share some more layouts.

Finally got published

Well i have finally cracked the publication merry go round.Not just a publication but a technique page.It will be out in about June next year along time to wait i know.It will be appearing in Scrapbook creations.Also my good friend Belinda has an article feature page as well,so we are both rapped same magazine.I hope you all have had a great xmas and i wish you all a fantastic newyear.

I guess that everyone had a great xmas we sure did.It was very busy and we were really tired as well by the end of the day.

Kylie slept over xmas eve,then Travis turned up at 7.30am to watch Mikayla open her presents.She was still asleep and he woke her up at 8.00am.She was not overly interested in opening her presents straight away but then after a few minutes she was.

Then we had breakfast with Debbie,luke,Kylie,Colin and myself.We then went to Col's sisters place for lunch with her inlaws and families along with Carly,Jason and Travis.

From there we went to visit Colin's parents and caught up with Karen and Tarkyn for xmas as well.Last stop for the day was Jim and Anita's then finally home too bed.

Mikayla's is waiting in line at the magic cave for her turn to ride nipper.This is a very large horse and she was just in awe of it.

Mikayla your are our sweet precious baby girl. You look so sad in this photo but you were not.

This is another that i completed of Travis and his girlfriend Carla,she is just stunning and a very nice girl too.I hope her trip back to England was a safe one.

I done a crop with chook scraps on the weekend this is one of three layouts that i finished.Mikayla actually sat and smiled for once without me having to chase her around for once.

Another layout that i finished on the weekend my three children at the christmas pagent.They really had a good day have loads of photos to scrap of this so i'm sure there will be more christmas layouts to come.I done this one for a challenge set by Lea at scrap withv cybercrop.Thanks Lea.

Beach Baby

Here is Mikayla at the beach and loving it.I thought that i would do something different and not do blues for the beach.I was really happy with the way it turned out.And by the way success with the toilet training this week she has done really well so fingers crossed she will keep it up.

This is another that i finished at the retreat just had to journal.Isn't she a treasure.You can't help but to love that face even when she is bossing us around.We are now trying to toilet train Mikayla forgot how fustrating this can be,especially when she dosen't want to be toilet trained she is basically lazy and just wants to wear nappies.I think the way she was going she would have been happy to be in nappies until she was five.Not going to happen so we will persist and see how she goes.

The scary part is i look so much like my mother that it is not funny.EEkkk

And last of all here are a couple of layouts that i done Saturday night.I spent the night with Mikayla at barmara .I got to meet Belinda taht i have met threw scrapbooking she is a scream and such a lovely young lady.

Mikayla and i took a road trip together and travelled 200kms to see her it was so worth it.She has great knowledge about loads of things to do with scrapbooking and it was so good to put a face to a name.

Hi B thanks again for your hospitality and friendship it means the world to me.Give mac a cuddle from me.

We left Sunday morning first thing to get back to Adelaide so Mikayla could go to the fairies concert.She was enjoying it until they mentioned the s word.She then started shaking and was not happy just wanted to vacate the building.Once he got on stage she settled a little bit ,you could see the look of relief on her face once she new he had gone.So i dont think we will be visiting to many santas this year.

Well that has been a huge post from me i will try to go back to the regular posting like before.I hope that everyone is going well and not to busy leading upto chrissie if that is possible.Talk real soon.Love Kerry

I have been so busy of late as two weekends ago i was up in Brisbane meeting girls from my first ever forum at cyberscraps.What a fantastic time we had plenty of food cooked by a marvellous chef Maggie thanks again Maggie.

We also had plenty of booze too.Cath from cyberscraps opened her house to us all with open arms and i'm sure she will think twice next time lol.

I havent got any photos of this as i never took my camera believe it or not.

Also i got to meet Vanessa,Millie and Lindy from scrapwithv,along with Andrew and the girls,What a lovely bunch of people they all are.It is so good to be able to meet so many people that have the same interests as you.Thanks V for having me for dinner and allowing me to spend the night i had a lovely night.

Hi,

Just some layouts i have managed to get done over the week.I have decided that i'm going to give 8.5 x11 layouts a go.My good friend Belinda challenged me to do these and i'm really pleased with the results,thanks Belinda.Also i have been really busy this weekend with the pagent and then when also went to the beach with Mikayla,Kylie and Carly.Karen dropped in for a little while with Tarkyn he is really growing up fast and so cute.

Mikayla was not fond of santa at all, i had the lady take six photos of her with me the last photo was the best one as she had calmed down form her screaming fit by then.She actually ended up blowing a kiss to him when she left.

I'm off to Queensland this weekend for a retreat with my first ever online scrapping forum cyberscraps can't wait it will be great to meet the other girls that i chat to regularly.

Fond memories

Auntie Christine and Colin at Carly's wedding october 2006.We have been so busy over the last few weeks finally we have moved in to another house most things put away.We have also had sad news that Auntie Christine had passed away in a very short time from cancer.Rest in peace Auntie Christine.She was buried on Monday .

Also we had three birthdays in the family and my best friends Anita's today.A very belated happy birthday to Debbie, Carly and of course myself.And happy anniversary Carly and Jason.

Travis has finally come home to stay after 6.5 years travelling oversees.So i wonder how long that will be before the bug strikes again,if it has even left him.Mikayla has started fairy dancing classes with Luke her little friend they love it.

Not much more to say at the moment i hope evryone is safe and well talk real soon love Kerry

40 Yrs

Auntie Christine and Uncle Sam they were married for 40 years ,Unfortunatily they have both passed away in the last 18 months.They would have to have been to of the nicest people that you would like to meet.There was not anything that they would not do for anyone.We will miss them greatly.I know that they have now been reunited with each other and may they rest in peace.We love you dearly and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.Love Kerry

This is me and my best Friend Anita my head looks huge in this photo i think i was abit too close to the camera.

Well i dont think i will get much scrapping done as i will be busy packing boxes as we are moving next week to another house.It is better value for its money as we will gain a tool shed,ducted heating,and an outdoor covered area for Mikayla

which will make all the difference in summertime she can still play outside.Well have agreat week all and i will catchup later in the week or early next week.

This one was doodling i think i might have just enough on here.

The next challenge was to scrap a page using green and orange cant say i'm a fan of these colours so it was a challenge for me.

his is my layout that i have done for a challenge at cyberscraps crop this weekend the challege was scrap a page with no photos and this is what i came up with.

This is my take on my own challenge that i set at scrap with v this weekend for there cybercrop.So if you feel like joining in come over and register,they are a great bunch of ladies.My challenge that i set was to use transparencies ,flowers,butterflies and you had to scrap about the man in your life.I was really pleased how this turned out.I used the kaiser bling and hand stamped the butterflies and large flower on this,then cut them out and put dots behind them to raise them from the page.

Cousins

This Ajay and Mikayla at Ajays 5 th birthday Mikayla just loves her cousin.I have created this layout for the girls at paper occasions in Cleveland Queensland.Get along to the store if you live out that way they have teriffic shop and they also run classes and are very helpful.Donna and Bec are both very competent scrappers too.

You will find this layout hanging in the store very soon.

A touch of Spring

We spent the afternoon at Kylies and i took about 40 photos of Tarkyn and Mikayla together as you can see Mikayla is trying not to let Tarkyn touch her.

Hi everyone, I hope that you are all well.We had a good safe trip to Melbourne,better for me as Geelong one not that they are my team but i just wanted them to beat port.Mikayla dosent like travelling that far in the car she was okay for the first four hours as she slept but after that there was no way she liked being sat in her car seat all that time.We had a dvd player but yes the batteries went flat and we couldnt charge it until we got there.I visited the best scrapbooking shop in Mornington it was huge and i bought lots.We also went to the morrabin outlet shops that was great too.
Our car decided to loose heaps of water Saturday morning so we had to hire a car until ford fixed ours on Saturday all going well now.I have been trying to upload some new layouts but for some reason it wont let me today i will have to try later.Hope that everyone is all well and that you have a great week.

2stars in the making

This is my last layout that i did last night.I started all four at 9.30 p.m last night and finished at 2.00 am this morning.

This is for my challenge for the dt position at scrap therapy,we had to use the papers that Nat sent us i am pretty pleased with the result of this.Don't forget if you are a member then voting for all layouts will probably commence next week.

one spring day

This is the third challenge it was to use the colour yellow i think i got this one covered.I'm not a lover of yellow at all but i was pleased how this turned out,i love the photo of Colin and Mikayla the were quite unaware that i was even taking it,so it is a really natural photo.

The second challenge was to you something that is not scrapping supplies.I have used a serviette for my main papers and the bif flowers on the side i love this technique and thanks to Kate for sharing her technique with everyone.It has certainly given me loads of inspiration and i'm now trying it on new layouts.

Just thought that i would upload some of my layouts i done last night.The first one is love this is done for cyberscraps challenge number 1 you had to have a flower and hearts, i was thrilled with the finished layout.

butterfly kisses

this a serviette background modpodged then the stickers i stamped and the swirls are tiny beads that i glued one by one.I love the photo and the beading turned out great.it took me about 3 hours to put them on.I know crazy but well worth the effort.

I was inspired by Kate to do a bit of mod podging ans sewing on a layout this is fabric as well as sewing around the photograph and on the page to give it a patchwork look.
