the little chick

We decided to go to the beach yesterday after Mikayla had a birthday party to go to at the fairies.On the way down to the beach front miss independent.

Well i was standing and not paying attention to where the water was and i got a bit wet, shoes and all.And Mikayla thought it was hilarious as you can see her thinking it was a great joke.The water was so darn cold.

And god only knows what she was doing here but i love this shot and the next one.

Cracking the sads as she didn't want to go home. But we did.lol.She really is a beach baby winter or summer she would live down there i think.Well have a great week everyone and thanks again for visiting my little blog.Take care Love Kerry xx

A challenge at Bons and also the new delovely papers .

And this layout i have done for the room of the month at Bons scraps i couldn't help but do it as the colors were very inspiring.Mikayla at the beach looking like a real beach baby.She loves the ocean.And when she seen this layout she responded with oh mum look at the rainbow it really is beautiful.She is such a little gem sometimes.

I really love the colours in this delovely line of papers so bright and summery.I have put a couple of shots on here to show that there is a little bit of dimension to this page.You really do loose a lot of it when you photograph it flat.

The color room #12

I looked at the colors this week and oh gosh what can i do.But after delving into my stash i did find a few bits and pieces.I think that's what i like about it it makes me use all the stuff i just buy and stash. I colored the bird and flowers with water color pencils.I have also done another couple of layouts last night just have to title them and then photograph them .

I was so happy with this layout i love these prima stamps and Donna downey and Ali edwards stamps.No patterned paper just all stamping.Just to cute i think lol.

Palette 11 for the color room this week and another layout

When i got these Donna Downey stamps in the post i so had to get them out and play straight away I'm in love i think.The bottom right hand corner is stamped with them also the two little birds on the bottom right.They stamp just fantastic too.Must say they are probably the best stamps i have as far as stamping nicely.Made by unity stamps.Can you believe i actually have used my cri cut as well the title was cut with it along with the little branch on the bottom of the page.

I love these papers they are just so girl and feminine.the brand is paper mania and you get a whole pad for about $18.00 dollars i think i have made four layouts with them now and still have more papers to use.Loads more.And i love the Ali Edwards stamp too. I love the frond leaf punch fro Martha Stewart i think it will become a new fave along with the two other punches i have use on here by her.And the Donna Downey bird stamps is adorable along with the Kaiser craft birdcage.Whats not to love about the prima flowers.

Color challenge #10 another layout

I really have so many pics to scrap of Travis that i thought this combo was great for a boy layout too.I have taken some close ups as to can never see the dimension used when you just photograph the layout.

the color room #10

My take on the color room this week.I like doing the challenge Friday nights as i can come home from a week at work and scrap and relax this gives me the chance to chill out. The colours this week were colors i really do not scrap at all.The pic was my niece Melissa and i she could reach his face to kiss him i was too short.We were in Bath in England and it was such a beautiful spot. And i also did another layout this week for the color room number#9 as i thought i might as well use the left overs from my other layout.The flowers are mod podged paper .Janine used the same ones on her layout this week but hers were serviettes.When i seen these i remembered i had wrapping paper like this so i then thought why not use them and i cranked up my cricut machine too the chandelier and the title were made using this.The frill around the circle was inspired by Stacey Cohen.Well happy long weekend i might just do another layout tonight Col has gone to the footy.Mikayla and i will have a spa and then it will be relaxation time for me .take care Love Kerry xx

The color room #9 plus a couple of older layouts

This layout i did for the color room blog number #9.Last week my layout was featured for the week on there blog along with some other fantastic layouts too.I have used another couple of the little collections bird houses here and fabric that was left over from a skirt i made Mikayla

I done this layout a few weeks ago of Mikayla with curlers in her hair.She hated me getting these pics and was running away from me killing herself laughing.As you can see by the first picture with the face pulling little brat tee hee.And by the way her hair didn't curl hahahaha.

This layout was done along time ago of Indianna.I have used a lot of masking here.It was picked up for publication by a magazine that closed down soon after.I was going through some layouts and found it so i thought i would put it up here.How cute was she .?

I really love this paper by girls paperia so pretty.Plus delved into the stash and found these old letters and some prima flowers.Kaiser craft bird cage,frame and bird.Collections butterfly's embossed and put through my cuttle bug.With a painted white background.

Another layout with the pictures i took of Mikayla last week

This is the layout i have done for the color room challenge #8 i loved the color combo.And the little cheeky monkey in the pic too. And of course more prima goodness.And also a couple of doily's that i bought a million years ago okay maybe not quite that many but it was along time ago.And a Ali Edwards stamp,A lace butterfly a couple of collection bits too.

Our little angel i couldn't resist using these wings from the collections range aren't they the cutest.Mikayla is still wanting to be a fairy and fly so i done this layout for her.She said oh mummy they are beautiful. And check out the little love birds also from this range so cute.
Also the pretty paper from Websters along with the prima stamps and flowers.

I am loving all these brands.

And a layout i have done from the wedding.One of the bridesmaids Tess for short altered this pic and emailed it too me thanks Tess Pauls.She loves photography and editing pics.So Tess if you are reading this leave me a message.
It really does take on a cartoon affect.And a mixture of brands here Tattered angles glimmer mist ,Heidie Swapp stamps Prima stamps,Websters and graphic 45.I really still struggle with boy layouts they are just hard to embellish.Anyway I'm off to bed have a great weekend every one.Take care Love Kerry xx

Prima build a page for May

I so loved this picture of Mikayla so what a perfect page to put it on.I have used all prima on this as it is for the build prima page for May.I have use stamps Flowers and hand cut flowers on this layout.Also the felt words are from prima too.I painted and glimmer misted the paper in the background.

Our Treasure with her wedding dress on

Travis and Carla gave Mikayla this dress for the wedding even though she couldn't"t go.When she seen it for the first time she said oh it's beautiful can i wear my wedding dress.I have been promising her since i got back that we would dress her up in and take some pictures.

Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth but we know different.

And this last pic i just love of her.She truly does look like an angel and i love her so much that some days i just want to cuddle her so hard that i would break her.She misses her brother heaps and talks about him often.We are lucky that he does ring us on skype so she can chat to him.There is nothing like having a big brother and it is nice to think he cares enough for her that he stays in regular contact with her.She can't wait for him and Carla to one day come back to Adelaide on the big plane.So Travis and Carla these pics are for you guys.Take care Love Mum xx

A couple more layouts for the week.

I love this pic of Mikayla and she loves climbing trees.Also lately she has been saying she wants to be a fairy and fly and gets quite upset when she wakes up and she isint.lol
I have done the color room challenge for this page.There is a mix of glimmer mists prima stamps and cricut swirls and i hand wrote and cut the title out.Also i love the little birds and birdhouse from collection's i have covered and inked these.Some of there new stuff is adorable.

And Travis waiting to go to the church.The photographer came to the hotel and missed us so i then took quite a few pics of the boys together.More to be scrapped many many more lol.

I think the Webster's really matched this picture also stamps from prima and the kaiser craft clock stamp.

I think that the new release stamps from prima have been my favourite so far.And of course some glimmer misting too.I have hndcut the title on this layout too.

Three more for the week.

Travis looking at his wife coming down the isle and yes there is a tear in his eye.I pulled the papers from my stash i think they would have to be at least three years old tee hee.

Adore

Well i have started doing some of the wedding pics.I have quite a few.Just loved this it looks so much better irl life.I have about three more more underway.They do make a stunning couple i think not biased though.

A little bit of websters and prima

I feel in love with this Websters paper and of course mixed with prima who wouldn't.I have also done another page but I'm not that happy with it so i think i will just add some more to it before i am totally finished with it.

I had fun doing this layout

I hardly ever do boy layouts and i really enjoyed doing this one.I loved taking pictures of Travis while i was away.I have Mod podged,stamped,sewed,glimmer misted and use texture paste and i loved how it all came together.
I have taken loads of pics of him next to old buildings and doors.

Just had to scrap this

I really had to scrap this pic it was my favourite photo from the wedding a moment that i caught and i just love Carla's natural look.I have used the sketch and the colours from the latest colour room challenge.
I also have been putting together another layout of Travis just a pic that i like of him not from the wedding.

Too many pics

I really have so many pics to edit and print it is amazing.I have put a vintage look to this one can you believe that this building Travis is standing on was built in 909 that is some amazing history.It was the inside of a burnt down church in Gloucester.

I love all the old bricks and buildings.

At Windsor castle that was amazing and just massive.I have printed some pics off to scrap yesterday so i hope i can get to some this week.Have picked some of Travis as you know he doesn't live here so it was nice to get some pics of him to scrap.

hi still touring

Hi everyone i am still here alive and kicking.I have so many photos that i have to edit and scrap i think i will be here forever doing them.I haven"t had a chance to post any more pics as Travis has had trouble with his computer the last few days.I am leaving on Sunday to come home and i know when i get there that i will have a million things to do.
Also back to work next week too hi girls missed you guys.
I will probably try and post a couple more pics if we can do it threw Travis"s computer no promises though.
This week has gone quickly we have been to quite a few amazing places.I just love how old this is here.The buildings are amazing the country side is beautiful.But there is nothing like home.

Julie and Lee are two very dedicated and wonderful parents to there 3 children.They have certainly made me feel at home.They have looked after Travis so well,i really do appreciate there genorosity.Well thats all for now catch you all real soon.Take care Love Kerry xx
