Well i dont think i will get much scrapping done as i will be busy packing boxes as we are moving next week to another house.It is better value for its money as we will gain a tool shed,ducted heating,and an outdoor covered area for Mikayla

which will make all the difference in summertime she can still play outside.Well have agreat week all and i will catchup later in the week or early next week.

This one was doodling i think i might have just enough on here.

The next challenge was to scrap a page using green and orange cant say i'm a fan of these colours so it was a challenge for me.

his is my layout that i have done for a challenge at cyberscraps crop this weekend the challege was scrap a page with no photos and this is what i came up with.

This is my take on my own challenge that i set at scrap with v this weekend for there cybercrop.So if you feel like joining in come over and register,they are a great bunch of ladies.My challenge that i set was to use transparencies ,flowers,butterflies and you had to scrap about the man in your life.I was really pleased how this turned out.I used the kaiser bling and hand stamped the butterflies and large flower on this,then cut them out and put dots behind them to raise them from the page.

Cousins

This Ajay and Mikayla at Ajays 5 th birthday Mikayla just loves her cousin.I have created this layout for the girls at paper occasions in Cleveland Queensland.Get along to the store if you live out that way they have teriffic shop and they also run classes and are very helpful.Donna and Bec are both very competent scrappers too.

We spent the afternoon at Kylies and i took about 40 photos of Tarkyn and Mikayla together as you can see Mikayla is trying not to let Tarkyn touch her.

Hi everyone, I hope that you are all well.We had a good safe trip to Melbourne,better for me as Geelong one not that they are my team but i just wanted them to beat port.Mikayla dosent like travelling that far in the car she was okay for the first four hours as she slept but after that there was no way she liked being sat in her car seat all that time.We had a dvd player but yes the batteries went flat and we couldnt charge it until we got there.I visited the best scrapbooking shop in Mornington it was huge and i bought lots.We also went to the morrabin outlet shops that was great too.
Our car decided to loose heaps of water Saturday morning so we had to hire a car until ford fixed ours on Saturday all going well now.I have been trying to upload some new layouts but for some reason it wont let me today i will have to try later.Hope that everyone is all well and that you have a great week.

2stars in the making

This is my last layout that i did last night.I started all four at 9.30 p.m last night and finished at 2.00 am this morning.

This is for my challenge for the dt position at scrap therapy,we had to use the papers that Nat sent us i am pretty pleased with the result of this.Don't forget if you are a member then voting for all layouts will probably commence next week.

one spring day

This is the third challenge it was to use the colour yellow i think i got this one covered.I'm not a lover of yellow at all but i was pleased how this turned out,i love the photo of Colin and Mikayla the were quite unaware that i was even taking it,so it is a really natural photo.

The second challenge was to you something that is not scrapping supplies.I have used a serviette for my main papers and the bif flowers on the side i love this technique and thanks to Kate for sharing her technique with everyone.It has certainly given me loads of inspiration and i'm now trying it on new layouts.

Just thought that i would upload some of my layouts i done last night.The first one is love this is done for cyberscraps challenge number 1 you had to have a flower and hearts, i was thrilled with the finished layout.

this a serviette background modpodged then the stickers i stamped and the swirls are tiny beads that i glued one by one.I love the photo and the beading turned out great.it took me about 3 hours to put them on.I know crazy but well worth the effort.

I was inspired by Kate to do a bit of mod podging ans sewing on a layout this is fabric as well as sewing around the photograph and on the page to give it a patchwork look.

I created this layout with left over paper from Kates class.Mikayla looks like a little pixie i think.Check out her ears rolled over under the scarf.This photo was taken when she stayed with Carly while we went to Perth.

Here are the two layouts i have done at a retreat with scrapbookstation on the weekend.I was really thrilled in the layouts taught by Kate Mason she certainly has inspired me to challenge myself in using different things to create layouts with.She is a lovely down to earth very pregnant with twins girl.Gooddluck Kate with your next phase of your life with your extension to your family.We got to meet the girls as well they are both so tiny and cute .Thanks again Kate for a great class.

Well here are just a few shots i got on fathers day.We had lunch at our eldest daughters house Kylie.Kylie made a great roast dinner and Debbie helped her with it.Karen also came and bought Tarkyn with her so all in all we had a great day.He has grown so much he is now 5 months old and Mikayla has turned two and a half as well time really flys.I just cant beleive it.We had fun trying to get Tarkyn to smile at the same time as Mikayla near impossible but i did get some great shots of the two of them.More scrapbooking for me.I also got some great ones with his poppa as well,but know show without punch Mikayla had to get in the shot as well,she thinks she is missing out on something otherwise.She wasn't to keen on him touching her she can really be quite painful sometimes a right little madam.She is very jealous of him also.But dosen't mind stealing his toy's though.

Well this weekend i'm off on a retreat at whalers Victor harbour so that should be fun.I am looking forward to the break.Colin gets to look after Mikayla on his own and god only knows what those two will get upto lol.

The other news i have that is i got an email from Vanessa at scray with v telling me i was one of two guest designers for two months on scrap with v website.I was really rapped and honoured to be chosen as i know by the response that Ness had that she had a lot of ladies to choose from.

And i was one of the lucky ones thanks again Ness for choosing me and i'm looking forward to the challenge.
I also got to the final twenty at scrap therapy for fulltime dt position but didnt make in the top ten .Thats the way the cookie crumbles,i can't say that i wasn't dissapointed because i was but good luck to the final ten i will look forward in voting for the winner.

This a photo from Carly's wedding my great nephew Ajay and Mikayla. Mikayla had just finished having screaming fit before this.Ajay thought he was pretty cool being able to ride this bike upto the wedding.I still have loads of photos that i have to do of Carly's wedding ,come to think of it i have just got loads of photos.

Here is a couple of photos from Lukes birthday party last Saturday,Luke is Mikayla's little friend that she goes to storytime with on Fridays .His family have been family friends with me for about 20 years we have now got children the same age.Melissa Luke's mum is Mikayla's god mother.In the photo there is Blane lukes buddy from kindy music his Cousin Emily and of course the ratbag on the end is Mikayla.

About me

This is a layout that i finshed for a cybercrop For cyberscraps in Queensland.I was originally doing this layout for the 123 challenge then because i have entered it at cyberscraps i can't enter it at two places at once so i will now have to do another one for 123 challenge should have read the fine print that will teach me.I was really pleased how this turned out,i love this paper range from basic grey.

Heaven sent Angels

This is my layout that i did today, well take a look at the heading it is says heaven sent Angels.Not after today when Mikayla decided to be artistic with this layout she decided that it needed more colour and also a bit of cutting.She has cut this layout all the way down the right hand side with little snip evenly placed,then she coloured the bottom right hand corner.I caught her just as she had finished.She normally sits at the table with me while i scrap and she draws,i'm guessing that she wanted to scrap also.I was so angry i wanted to throttle her as two hours of cutting sanding was ruined in 5 minutes of her own pleasure.Colin came home just after this happened when i was still fuming and said well she watches you do it so what can i expect.That bought some calm to my thoughts.Well looks like i will just have to keep it as a memory.

I have done this one for a challange ,and i'm stoked with the colours and i think that it turned out great.Anyway thanks to evryone that comes and has a look at my blog,i try and go to my friends blogs each week and leave comments.

I haven't been upto much this weekend other than scrap,i have about five pages that i would like to get done before the end of the month for challenges don't know how i will go but i will give it a go.

Reflections

I have been pondering over this layout for two weeks not knowing what to do with it i finally finished it yesterday afternoon.I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I also done this one on Saturday night watching seventh heaven and cutting out all the little flowers and scrolls.The bull dog clip that i used for the tag came from my friend Lea in a swap thanks Lea.I hand done the scallops and also hand doodling on the page.I have done this layout for a new website based in the USA called

We have had a busy weekend ,we went to the football to watch centrals and the eagles on Saturday afternoon ,we went to the luncheon before the game and had a really nice day.It was good to have a day out with Colin's eldest daughter Kylie and her boyfriend Alex and to have an afternoon free to ourselves thanks Carly once again for babysitting.Sunday was spent with a lazy morning then out to lunch with Debbie and Luke and also Karen and Tarkyn.Thanks for meeting up with us we had a lovely afternoon and Mikayla was pretty excited about seeing Tark as she calls him.He has grown so much he is now four months old and a very strong little boy.So thanks to all three girls for taking the time out from your days to meet up with us,Mikayla loves seeing all of you and to Debbie she would love to go to the show so i will keep you to that.

This is one of my layouts that i have done this week i have done this one for a challenge on the scrap with v website.Although this is not my nan i wanted to do this layout as this nan is the closest i get to having a nan,both of my nan's passed away many years ago.This is my best friends Anita's mum.I was really pleased with the colour combination thanks for your help Karen from scrapbookstation.Nan has now been a part of my life for about twenty years.She has been a great friend and when i used to live in Adelaide the first time i would quite often see her and we would go to the pictures together.I would now see her maybe once a fortnight for a small amount of time she always loves a chat and i love her dearly.

Kathie Link is a teacher that i admire she is light hearted great to talk to and also very helpful.I done this page on Saturday with Katihe ,She is very well published here in Australia by all mags,so it is nice to go to someone that is so talented.Kathie's journalling is always very heart felt and just really lovely to read.Congratulations Kathie for all your acheivements up to date.

The cheeky little monkey face Mikayla is so easy to scrap as she brings joy to so many people,she sure is becoming a character with loads of personality we love her to bits.I have started her this week at a music class to teach her the beat of the music so oneday she will be able to sing in tune and also learn to play the piano,she went on Monday and had a ball.Taking over as per usual and being the centre of attention,it bought a tear to my eye just watching her deep in thought and enjoying the moment.She is so precious and each day as she grows she brings more joy into our lives.I only hope that all people that have children treasure all that time as it goes too quickly and your children are not babies or little for long enough.And share all that you can with there grandparents and there other family members,as we all do not know how long we are here for and life is to short.

Can't forget the little miss

Mikayla has been following me everywhere since we came home from Perth.She was singing mummy,daddy in the shower over and over again so i think she might have been happy that we were home.Thanks Carly and Jason for having her for the time that we were away i know she enjoyed it as she can't stop talikng about the wow wow's dogs that is thanks to Auntie Neat for saying wow wow's instead of dogs.

This is the layout that Cass has made me .The swap was with the girls at cyberscraps i scrapped the Lily page and Cass srapped this gorgeous page for me.She is a very talented scrapper having being published quite a few times to many to even remember.I am thrilled to have one of her pieces in my album.Also i got accepted in the basic grey gallery with my layout of Lily i was stoked as i'm rapped with the way that came out also.So any one interested in having a look go to basicgrey and look my name up and my picture that i done will be there to have a look at.I'm am going to try and use a bit more basic grey in the future as i really like the end results.
